Sidney is a quaint sea-side town located 15 minutes by car from Victoria, B.C., on beautiful Vancouver Island, itself the garden capital of Canada. Sidney boasts the best weather conditions of anywhere in Canada. Unlike Victoria, Sidney is relatively flat, favouring walking, a beautiful seaside walk with sights of the San Juan Islands and the Gulf Islands (including close-by famous Saltspring Island), great shopping (Canada's book capital), and easy access to world famous Butchart Gardens and all of Victoria's attractions, theatres etc. Virtually everything in Sidney is within easy walking distance - and that includes practically anything you can think of! Sidney is close to Victoria's international airport and the BC ferries to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver. Bus service is available to Victoria, Vancouver and BC Ferries. Other ferries are available travelling to Washington State cities. A six passenger van can be provided at additional cost and insurance.

The Home

We offer weekly and monthly rental of a lovely 3 bedroom 3 bath town home located three short blocks from the seaside walkway and Beacon St.'s shopping. A grocery superstore is two blocks away, as is the library and the Shoal Community Centre.

Two Master Bedrooms, one with 5 piece en-suite bath and Queen size bed, and one with 4 piece en-suite bath and King size bed.

Main level bathrooms have grab bars.
Level access front door and patio access through level French doors.
Living Room with gas fireplace, Optic cablevision and PVRs, DVD, comfortable seating and double doors to private patio area.
Townhouse is set in a beautifully landscaped private setting.
Walking distance (2 short blocks) to Beacon Avenue shops and the scenic seaside walkway.

Full kitchen facilities with four appliances (plus freezer, washer & dryer in garage), fully equipped and adjacent to dining room.
Washer, dryer, ironing board, iron, freezer and central vacuum system in garage/workshop. Note: garage unsuited for parking.
Ample free parking on street (max 24 hours).
Telephone with unlimited Canada and United States (lower 48 states only) calling. Other calls will be charged back to you.
Full cable TV service (about 60 channels or more), three TV sets plus 2 DVD players. There is a Windows computer and open WiFi available.
Excellent grocery shopping two blocks away. There are 3 supermarkets and many independent stores in Sidney, all within easy walking distance.
Townhouse is newly renovated with neutral colours and well appointed and furnished.
Sidney is quite flat, very scenic and ideal for walking. The public library, the Shoal community centre and virtually all services are very close.

$500 deposit required upon reservation. Deposit returned if booking cancelled more than 60 days in advance. Upon occupancy, this deposit then becomes a damage deposit, which will be returned by mail after housekeeper verification less any damage or losses. Full period payment is required two weeks prior to check-in (if more than four weeks, payment due for four weeks). PST is not included in quoted prices. Any quoted discounts are cancelled if stay is shorter than reserved time.
