Sidney is a quaint sea-side town located about 15 minutes by car from Victoria, B.C., on beautiful Vancouver Island, itself the garden capital of Canada. Sidney boasts the best weather conditions of anywhere in Canada. Unlike Victoria, Sidney is relatively flat, favouring walking, a beautiful seaside walk with sights of the San Juan Islands and the Gulf Islands (including close-by famous Saltspring Island), great shopping (Canada's book capital), and easy access to world famous Butchart Gardens and all of Victoria's attractions, theatres etc. Virtually everything in Sidney is within easy walking distance - and that includes practically anything you can think of! Sidney is close to Victoria's international airport and the BC ferries to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver. Bus service is available to Victoria, Vancouver and BC Ferries. Other ferries are available travelling to Washington State cities. We offer weekly and monthly rental of a lovely 3 bedroom 3 bath town home located three short blocks from the seaside walkway and Beacon St.'s shopping. A grocery superstore is two blocks away, as is the public library, the new wellness fitness park and the Shoal Community Centre.

The world famous Butchart Gardens is located about a 10 minute drive at Saanichtown. This world class tourist attraction is not to be missed! Also, Victoria is a beautiful city to explore. There is good bus service to the ferry terminal at Schwartz Bay (to Vancouver) and into Victoria's inner harbour tourist centre. Have lunch at the BC legistlature dining room, or high tea at the famous Empress Hotel! The Gulf Islands and the San Juan Islands provide interesting trips too. Or you could visit the wineries of the Saanich peninsula. Day trips could include Duncan (the totem pole capital of the world), Nanimo (the most stores per capita in Canada -- and perhaps the States), or the famous "Goats on the Roof" at Coombs or the lovely communities of Parksville and Qualicum, visit the huge trees in Cathedral Grove, or whale watch at Tofino -  all on Vancouver Island.

Full kitchen facilities with four appliances, fully equipped and adjacent to dining room.
Washer, dryer, ironing board, iron, freezer and central vacuum system in garage/workshop. Note: garage unsuited for parking.
Ample free parking on street, and by day, in front of the townhouse.
Telephone service with complimentary unlimited local, Canada and continental United States calling. Overseas or other long distance calls will be charged back to you.
Full cable TV service (approx.60 channels), three TV sets plus DVD and VHS players and TV equipped Windows computer (WinTV) in den.
Excellent grocery shopping two blocks away. There are 3 supermarkets and many independent stores in Sidney, all within easy walking distance.
Games (Dominos, Cribbage, Trivial Pursuit etc.) and playing cards are available, and a small collection of VHS and DVD movies.
Townhouse is newly renovated with neutral colours, well appointed and well furnished and with new hardwood floors.
Sidney is quite flat, very scenic and ideal for walking. The public library, the Shoal Community Centre, new Fitness Park and virtually all services are one block away.

* Daily Rate only: Minimum 2 days - one-time cleaning charge of $85 for stays less than a week. Daily rate reservations can only be made 30 days or less prior to proposed occupancy date during July and August with full payment at time of booking. 

$500 deposit required upon reservation. Deposit returned if booking cancelled more than 60 days in advance. Upon occupancy, this deposit then becomes a damage deposit, which will be returned by mail after housekeeper verification less any damage, phone calls or losses. Full period payment is required at check-in (if more than four weeks, payment due for four weeks). GST of 5% is not included in quoted prices.
